Linear, or mechanical? 3" P2P linear would give them ~40mm Xmax.
Anyways; Tumult had an Xmax of 34mm. 13W7 was dumaxed at 34mm Xmax IIRC.
The JL gotham/phantom(modified W7) sub can do 4" p2p, Jl engineers say it in a vid anyways.

i think as far as finished subs is concernd.i think cerwin vega is holding the title...they claim 36-40mm of excursion in each direction

What do you mean by "finished"? The Parthenon has the most linear excursion of any other sub out there at 80mm one way.

Um, yea linear. Their not the regular Dub7's, theyve been modified. well, of course this is according to them but ide take their word for it, the y show some nice pron too.
I think he meant production, but from reading the site a while back, theyre built once ordered so technically your right, just that no ones actually seen it finished, just that motor vid.
