What LOC would I need that will be compatible with a 5 channel amplifier.

Im used to aftermarket radios....Im going with my factory HU (dont know much about LOCs)

What about the Audio Control DQL-8? That has LOC capabilities with EQ and probably isn't as expensive as the Audison Bit1. Another problem with the Bit1 is that it is "supposed" to be installed by an authorized dealer.

Can your amp internally make a sub signal. Or does it require RCA in's?

The 4-channel scosche LOC from gaymart will work fine if your amp will make an internal sub signal. I used it with my setup for about a year till I got a headunit.

I can post pics of my old setup if you want.

Wouldnt you techically need a line out converter on the front AND rear channels if you want to retain the use of your fader controls? Ive never used an loc installing a 4ch though, only subs.

Honestly something like the Bitone, 3sixty, pxe-h650 or similar is going to be your best bet.

You will get a LOC that will flatten out the factory headunit, give you some EQ 3 ways crossover etc.

The only downside of going with a 3sixty is that RF has been having horrible Blue Tooth issues with that particular unit. A lot of times BT works for the initial install, but later when you go to change something, the BT connection is DEAD!
