Line Output converter

Trying to Run stock head unit on a Honda Accord, I dont know if to go with a Line output converter, or just to run the wires straight to an amp.

Trying to set up a 4 channel amp with the stock head unit, without getting the scratch bass distortion when the volume is high.

Is adding a eq an option also to eliminate the distortion?

A lot of amps have LOC's built in, called high level inputs. If you're getting bass distortion you need to upgrade your speakers and address the way the speakers are installed. An EQ won't fix that.
