Limited on space for sub/subs

I have a 05 Dodge ram SRT10 quad cab that came stock with a 10" sub I upgraded the sub to a kicker cwrt101 shallow mount running off a hifonics Brutus 1000.1. So I'm looking to put a real enclosure in, looking at Fox acoustics speaker box, but limits me to my selection of subs. I have been looking at the alpine swr 10d2 it will fit in the box and is 1000rms. Just wondering if I am over looking other subs that will fit this enclosure.

But they only come in dual 4. That's why I mentioned the 8, plenty more options in that size. A 8 in the right space will beat even a 12 cramped.

It's not different. A lot of people run 8s. It was a fad last year and now they make some sick ones.

The W6 is purpose built for sound quality, it's meant to transition into the front stage not get real loud. They can but you defeat it's purpose. The sundown 8s are cool, Soundqubed has a cool one and of course DD is the king of 8s
