wtf..nice quote.. was that for real?hahaLimewire is full of AIDS now. Every computer I've had to work on that had virus issues had limewire on that computer as well. I guess if you know what you are downloading you should be ok.
Make sure you also download malwarebytes anti-malware along with it
bit torrentAre you using uTorrent?
Limewire/Frostwire/all those P2P clients are a waste of time.
The way I change which program's open which file's is by right clicking the file and choosing the open with option and telling it to choose default program then in that list you should see have BitTorrent as a option. If you don't have BitTorrent listed then click on the browse button and choose the BitTorrent shortcut in the folder it's installed to and make sure the box that says "Always Use The Selected Program To Open This Kind Of File" is checked. That should open up all your torrent's in BitTorrent from now on. There may also be a option in Limewire you have to disable but I'm not sure since I've never used it. But that's how I had to do it to get mine to stop opening in FrostWire.okay question i have limewire and bittorrent...how can i download torrents using bittorrent instead of limewire??? no matter what i do it always comes up a limewire torrent download. even with bittorrent set as primary source for downloading torrents!!
well i'm not really exposed to the whole bittorrent thing and i've never really tried to learn it. limewire always seemed to work pretty well for me, and i've never gotten a virus from it. if u just use it for songs and u make sure there's a song length and a bitrate present, then u should be fine and not get a virus from the downloaded file. maybe ill look into the bittorrent thing when summer comes around since we cant use any p2p or bittorrents on the campus internetprivate torrents > lamewire. Not even a competition.
they all ****. i can never get it to connect on my computer, says connecting for ever.
