I agree with the rush. I am a young black kid that comes from a middle class family and we vote mccain. We dont care about the whole black thing thats great for him but its not going to help us when our country is overrun from people trying to beat the system and i am going to school to own a business one day i dont think its right with what he wants to do wit taxes i think if you arent responsible enough to earn your own money then the hell wit you we dont need that kind of people in our country we need people to work and make smart choses i just hope to be dead by the time the usa finally falls due to the way people live today its totally bullshit Now i may only be 17 but i aint stupid i see whats going to happen and it aint going to be good Another thing Obama promises all this change I never once heard him say positive Change for all we know he aint got a clue of how to run a country Bush did **** good in office i think he had one of the hardest terms of any president to date I think he has the best defense plans and i bet you a mill obama aint going to change them plans he is going to sit in his new white house and do absolutely nothing I get pretty pissed in this topic because people call me a racist i not racist I am a REALIST not blinded by what the media is making him out to be and i laugh at the media calling him the next Martin Luther King Jr he is not and will never be that great PERIOD he didnt do anything but get elected shit i could do that witht the right connections ok i vented enough LOL

I don't agree with gay marriage, but I think they should be allowed some type of civil union so they can get through the confidentiality and tax laws.

Obama is against Gay marriage but it IS A STATE ISSUE NOT FEDERAL.

I don't agree with abortion, but that legislation would never change anyway.

Freedom of Choice Act will be signed in very soon. No holds barred abortions for teens (parents of pregnant will not have to know about it) and abortions will be legal all the way through 9 months.

I don't believe in pampering terrorists, but I don't believe in torturing them either. the US does plenty of terrorizing ourselves, along with tons of spies.

The democrats have no idea what to do here. Gitmo closing is just propaganda to improve world image. Gibson announced it but clearly they had 0 answers on what to do.

I don't believe anyone needs or should have a gun for protection.

That is cool but the thing is the country was based on having the right to own guns. Criminals won't be turning in their guns no matter what Obama does or says so the only people who would pay respects to the law are people who you do not have to worry about anyway. If criminals didn't use guns they would use knives, shanks and explosives, homemade if need be.

Palin was a failure and conservatives pushing for her to run in 2012 will ruin the GOP for good. We didn't need McCain, but we damn sure didn't need Palin.

She gets watched more than Obama and the liberal media is terrified of her as they still cover what they tried to dismiss as a flash in the pan. She didn't get to do what she wanted while running and she governs from the center to the right where the media tried to make her look like she governed from the right and went radical right. You may say she is FAIL but the things she has done and said since makes me believe she can very well handle politics on a national level. She just got her feet wet running with McCain. Polls I have seen suggest that more people are for her than totally against and 63% were undecided even with the bs the media tried to pull during the election. Poll was done in December of 2008 I'll try to find it for you...

Also it was not Palin that lost it for McCain, it was McCain's people going every which way but loose and the fact they were tied in the same party as Bush. More people watched her speak on TV and more people watched the VP debate than any single presidential debate.
