Limbaugh :"I want Obama to Fail"

Camp McCain would only allow Palin to talk about certain things. If you watched her at the Republican Governor's Convention DAYS after the election I think you would have been in shock. Obama did not win the election on any type of blow out..just seems that way because Bush won 2 very close elections.
The things they did let her talk on, she did not appear to be very well informed on. You can side-track with arguments about Biden all you want...Palin was (and will be) a poor candidate.

Watch her speech at that convention...and coming from a leftist I am glad a canadian does not like her LOL

1. Yes, completely. You're denying a legal right to one group of citizens, when others possess that right. That's discrimination, and the Constitution doesn't support that. You can't not hire someone because of ****** orientation, but denying them other rights is ok? FAIL.
2. Women have the right to choose; their bodies, not mine. Do I support partial birth abortions or late term abortions? no, but I haven't heard anything yet about that being on the table for reversal.

3. The prison at Gitmo has only hardened the resolve of all these "terrorists" around the world. I assume that's the pampering you refer to. If the government had put those guys on trial right away, you think a jury full of Americans would let them walk? And no matter how tight or controlling the security, you will never prevent a single guy or a small group from killing people. It is impossible.

4. No, but there's a lot of guns that shouldn't be purchased. And the 2nd Amendment doesn't make it legal to carry assault rifles.

1. Next you'll say it's ok for someone to marry their sister....The line MUST be drawn somewhere.

2. What about the innocent baby? When do they get to chose what happens to THEIR bodies?

3. Everyone who owns a gun will be penalized. Including people who hunt as a way of living (native Americans, Eskimoes). The people who will be affected the least are people who purchase guns and ammo illegally and on the black market. It is just a bad policy from what I gather.

Obama lifts ban, will use your tax dollars to pay for abortions around the world

President Obama has lifted a ban on federal funding for international groups that promote or perform abortions, reversing a policy of his predecessor, George W. Bush.

Obama's actions mean that hundreds of millions of your tax dollars will go to help groups like Planned Parenthood perform abortions around the world.

His actions came one day after the 36th anniversary of the landmark Roe v. Wade Supreme Court ruling that legalized abortion in all 50 states.

I did watch that speech. What does that have to do with her previous questions? She did a good job of sticking to the talking points; when someone asked her something she wasn't prepared to answer, she couldn't intelligently respond because she was not well informed.

Just like every post you make, it is more about where someone is on the political spectrum than it is about what they say or do. You are such an ideologue that it is sad.

1. Hah, well, if my sister was Megan Fox..... But in all seriousness, there should be no legal reason for 2 people who are unrelated to enter into a legally binding social contract, ie, marriage. And civil unions don't count. The Church can be against it all it wants, but there should be no legal opposition to it.

2. Well, I think abortion is a bad thing anyway, but at least if it's legal, woman can have it access to it in a safe, sterile environment performed by a trained doctor. And sad to say, if you're under 18 in this country, you have no legal rights.

3. I don't have a problem with someone owning a gun, or several; it's just the types. People who hunt for a living can absolutely own shot guns or rifles; but your typical Inuit doesn't need 10 tries to down a polar bear when one will do fine. Now, they might need some autos to protect us from the Russians that Palin can see from out her window... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Freedom of Choice Act is also more than "just a choice" issue. It also takes away parental rights from knowing that their teenagers are out getting pregnant. Which also damages the family unit as now kids can "play" and not pay for anything. Do not even have to answer to mom or dad.

and you aren't?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Speaking well equals intelligence? To me it doesn't especially when the answers to the problems help rip at the very fiber of a typical family or granstand to look good when infact they do not even have 1 freaking clue as to how they will fix something like Gitmo. All Obama has done is say he can fix the world and there is very very little substance to say that he will. He set the bar and the media rose it up a few notches so it should be a good time in watching this happen:laugh:

Holding the office of the President of the United States is not a feel good story, it is a job that has responsabilities.

No, I'm not an ideologue. Tell me where I fit on the political spectrum; you've judged it based on the fact I'm from Canada, but please tell me where I stand on:

1) Abortion

2) States' Rights

3) Church v State

4) Monetary policy

5) Foreign policy

6) Health care

7) Welfare

Why can't you address Palin's shortcomings without drudging up a Democrat to try and save face?

Personally I do not care what your World View is, and I will bet you more so that you do not have a single clue what any of my positions are on any of those topics.

You have a right to think however you wish, but America has more on their plate than to worry about what Canada thinks. I pay taxes here and I vote here in the USA not Canada. If there were a Canadian political thread I highly doubt I would even read it, not that I don't care but for the simple fact I do not live there nor have rights there. If to you that makes me "less worldly" then so be it. I think it is perfectly fine that Canada has their own government and their own voting process that will and can survive without American influence. I just do not want my country becoming a western european type country as over the years we have proven to be able to survive very well on our own off the basis our countries founders wrote.

Palin's short comings? Like I give a crap what she reads or the fact that Charlie Gibson knows less about the Bush Doctrin than Palin does. Even the guy who coined the term said Gibson was a lost sheep (liberal media wouldn't cover that). If you are trained to be one way and told not to talk about this topic or that topic it will very much change the way you answer anything. Do you know if McCain's prep people told her any specifics of what to say or not to say?

Do you think the media jumping on her kids or trooper gate was fair? Trooper gate was hilarious most of that board was made up of goons who found her guilty based on no proof yet when it went on to an independant sector it was cleared. The timing of it all was also hilarious as it was pushed to bash right before the election. That commitee was also made up of not so powerful political figures that did not like her simply because she was a Republican or they were friends of those whom were relieved for their corruption. If things were flipped and done that way with Obama all the democrats would have cried racism but sexism I guess doesn't exist? I believe in June of this year we will actually start to hear actual details of Obama and Rezco. Funny thing there is I didn't see the government pushing to find any dirt there. The media also portrayed Palin as the witch that would flip abortion rights..she is pro-life but there is nothing there in her past that would suggest she would outwordly go out and over turn Roe v. Wade.
