I hate politics and usually don't talk about it, but only someone who is un-american would want the president to "fail". It sounds like he wants him to fail so he can say "I told you so" to everybody.
My personal feelings are **** The World and look out for yourself and the ones you love because no one else is going to do it for you!

then 70+% of the media was anti american for the last 8 years:laugh: Most of what the media tried to nail Bush with is and was speculation. As much as I dislike Chaney pretty much the same can be said there. Just like everyone who ragged on Bush about No Child Left Behind. Democrats forget who wrote it up:laugh: and who helped fail to fund it.

If he fails we all fail. If the country gets worse for any part of the society, the whole society suffers. Until people realize this, the country will continue to decline. Rush limbaugh is a hypocrite, the stereotypical scared white male who views it as the end of the world if anyone who isn't white, male, or republican takes charge. He never notices what Republicans say or do wrong, only Democrats.
What is more racist to me than anything is George Bush was established to be an alcoholic C student with a DUI arrest who was such a screwup he couldn't even show up on time for national guard duty, and who seemed to gain the White house largely because of who his daddy was, and many of the people who ignored these things and found some justification, some deep down indecribable inherent 'goodness' that obviously just didn't show up in his past or in his speaches, that made them cast their ballots in that direction. These same people seem really really pissed off that Obama won.

They cast that idiot Pailin for vice president and there are 3 year old special ed students who probably have a better understanding of politics than she did. Id love to have seen a black female with the same intelligence level make it even that far just because she is female like Pailin did.

People asked me if I was excited about the first black president. I say yes, and no. When the one comes up who doesn't have to be twice as smart and twice as clean as any white dude that ever came before him just to stand a chance, THEN I'll get excited. When the black Dubya runs and people ignore is flaws the same way they ignored them in the white Dubya, THEN we've really come a long way.

Most people who feel one way or another about Obama just have a negative knee-jerk reaction to everybody feeling excited about the first this or the first that and probably don't even have a complete understanding of any policy he's ever spoken about or what his plan is. Not saying anybody who hates Obama is stupid, but there is alot of uneducated fearmongering started by people who hate on him just to hate on him. And alot of people who think they understand politics because they listen to Rush spew garbage from his big fat mouth every morning.

Obama did drugs in high school and in college.

Obama refusses still to this day to release MANY official records, many of which like his state senate records were destroyed. For some odd reason people think the records were real old. Records not even 2 years old were destroyed as Obama decided to run 18 months into his only term as a US senator. He hides his college records and birth certificate as well. He also lied about things in his past, lied about Wright, and took things out of his books that were now selling better than ever due to him running for office. He has ties in Chicago government that is corrupt and do not forget about Rezco. He gets praise for being a community organizer...thing is he failed huge in almost all of his efforts.

Palin? You believe she is an idiot because you do not know anything about her record and you watch MSLSD. If she did not want to continue in politics she could file a complaint of slander and malice against the media and more than likely win. She has accomplished more in politics than Obama has and actually understands energy policies unlike Obama. Democrats keep bringing up "clean coal" technology....great except for the fact that IT DOES NOT EXIST in any workable way.

You say Obama is smart and intelligent..fine but why say one thing and do the other like his vote on telephone surveillance and election financing? Why did he say he was close friends and endorse a mayor and a governor who were legally removed from office for corruption within the last year? All this so far with what is really known about Obama doesn't disqualify him as president but it does disqualify him as being the symbol of "perfection" the media paints him to be.
