Who was ACORN trying to fix the election for? I mean they were telling homeless people they were taking to the polls to vote Obama, registered dead people, stores, hell they even registered the same people 30 times. Then who paid an affiliate of ACORN $880,000? The ACORN spokesman was even trying to hide it. What is her record then. Please educate me. My opinion is based on never having seen her make one single intelligent and coherent statement about anything of substance.

She has accomplished more in politics than Obama has and actually understands energy policies unlike Obama. Democrats keep bringing up "clean coal" technology....great except for the fact that IT DOES NOT EXIST in any workable way."
AHAHAHAHA see my sig. Nobody thinks Obama's ever been anywhere or done anything real because it's what the haters want you to think. Which is better: Someone who has a basic grasp of one single issue but can't speak intelligently about anything else, someone who owned a baseball team and worked for an oil company before getting a governorship for 5 years based on his family name, or someone who's worked with or been associated with various levels of government since the 80s? And all this after working with a major corporation that advises other companies on international operations? I guess in this country and for some people if the first two are white and the third is black it's a no-brainer, the first two resumees win.
People who like to compare what he's done to what others have done should take a minute some time and actually read up on the guy for themselves instead of just going based on soundbytes. There's plenty of people out there with more experience in government and politics than him, but many of the people who are most frequently compared to him can't count themselves in that category.

Bashing and wanting someone to fail are not always the same. I mean if you think someone is doing a bad job, then that's what you think and you have a right to express that. To want someone to fail is to have hopes of a bad outcome. One is reactive, one is just negative. I didn't like Bush, but I never wanted him to fail. I never want to see this country struggle. At the same time I have to be honest with how I feel about how he did. I'm not gonna lie to myself.

I don't agree with gay marriage, but I think they should be allowed some type of civil union so they can get through the confidentiality and tax laws.
I don't agree with abortion, but that legislation would never change anyway.
I don't believe in pampering terrorists, but I don't believe in torturing them either. the US does plenty of terrorizing ourselves, along with tons of spies.
I don't believe anyone needs or should have a gun for protection.

Palin was key in cleaning up corruption in Alaska, Obama so far seems to be with the corruption in Washington:laugh: How could the media know what was wrong with Bill Richardson, Carol Browner. Timothy Geithner, and Eric Holder before Obama's selection committy did? Alot of this is old news as well so something tells me they didn't do much if any vetting.Obama endorsed and was endorsed by Rod Blagojevich, and was said they were good friends. Rev Wright would have ended many a political career especially if it was lied about like Obama did. And do not say Obama didn't know because Wright was a known wacko in the 80's when Obama fell in love with him while at college on the east coast.

1. Agreed. Somewhat. But if liberals have their way we will be redfining our definition of marriage. Another blow to our moral base.
2. Yeah, but it's just the principal thet our leader thinks this should be an option, just kind of sick.
3. I believe that if they kill or have a strong desire to kill Americans, their rights as human beings should be thrown out the window. This is argueable, but if we have to gouge out the eyes of one mass murderer to save the lives of thousands of innocents, do you not think that is just?
4. It is not just arms used for self defense that will be penalized as far as I know.
And besides, I believe that if someone breaks into our homes and has a gun, we should have the right to protect our families against them, eh?
