Poped on here a couple days ago to check on things.

Obama symbolizes hope for not only African-Americans but Asians, Latinos and other cultures to one day become president. There are democratics who care for social concerns and republicans who care about wealth and keeping wealth. Obama is more concerned for social change, balancing the economy and a lot fo the same principles that Bill Clinton believed in. Bush is a Republican but he was a bad Republican and that's why in the very end even a lot in his own party abandoned him. He wasn't a good speaker, didn't seem sincere and was generally an idiot. Obama has his shortcomings but only time will tell if he is successful.

Rush Limbaugh is entitled to his opinions and the way he feels. The US is a free country he can express his opinions. Personally, I don't give e dam what he thinks or feels, it's just words. The US is changing and is becoming a more diverse country. Eventually, he will be in the minority and his views will be in the minority. America isn't and in the future will no longer be under all white rule and the 60's, 70's and the 80's will be obsolete. If Limbaugh doesn't get on the right train he will be left behind. I do respect Limbaugh for stating how he feels publicly and sticking by his stance. I just don't agree with him. No need to put him down though.

It's basic principals of economics, if the rich people stay rich, they can pay people to do their work.
Less money for employers = less money for employees or less employees period. If you put more money into eomployers then more jobs open up and become available.

The rich aren't always employers. Or they can do like they have and try to get richer by sending jobs overseas.

Would it have mattered if I voted or not? I've been involved with Politics since I was 14, who cares how long i've been able to vote? He did the same shit when the McNabb and T.O. thing was all you saw in the papers.

Dude is a piece of shit, plain and simple. He is the 50 cent of political talk shows. Soon as he sees a dip in is ratings, he has to start shit.

And as for you............ Has any of Obama's bills even went to Congress yet? You will lose your job because of what happened, not what will happen. My retirement took a 2k hit last quarter. That is not because of Obama.

Why would you want a President, any President, to fail? I didn't vote for Bush in 2000 or in 2004, but I never wanted the man to fail. If the President fails, the country probably is too. If you want 2 wars to drag on for years and years, the economy to worsen, for the jobless rate to double or triple, for 4 more years of partisan politics and a polarized nation with no confidence in it's elected leader, then yes, support failure. But this white, godless, tree-hugging, liberal northern democrat is going to give the President his support until proven otherwise. Same as I did with the last guy.

Rush Limbaugh is a blowhard, nothing less, nothing more. Most talking heads, left or right, are. And like many people in here, entitled to their wrong, and protected, opinions. The only conservative talking head out there worth anything is Ann Coulter, and that's only because I'd PIIHB and blow it on her face.

There's also the truth... that business and corporations take the lower taxes and run, hiring illegal aliens and outsourcing to foreign countries to inflate the stock price and then putting the savings into the pockets of investors and executives instead of using it to hire Americans. Now if you were to ask if I like the concept of specific tax incentives based on the number of legal aliens and Americans hired in any given year, that would be different.

My point is there is no good answer. Jobs are going to get offshored and labor is going to be insourced until we are willing to work for the wages the market (global) dictates. We can try to slow the bleeding a little though
