I've read all the negative things about xplods, they're honestly not that bad as long as you don't think your knocking the block down. My friend's 3 type-rs sealed(even though ported is the best way to go) in a Tahoe is the loudest thing I've ever been in, it was amazing. He has 4 18s now, but they're pyramids. As you can see I haven't heard much of anything so I don't have much of an idea of what loud is lol.

im in the same place you are i have an ok setup and cant up grade right now because of school

its good to see that i am not the only one! i hate it, but at least i have a nice, clean sounding system.
