well, Buddens might have mentioned him in his raps since they beefin, but I doubt he really shatted on him that hard...funny thing about Joe Buddens, he seems to only diss dudes that are 5x better than him, and who have put out way better diss tracks in his direction...plus I think Raekwon got the ultimate shat on award when his peoples man handled Budden live on his own blog and he didnt/hasnt/wont do anything about it...listen to Saigon's tracks re: Buddens and get his side, much better...sad too, there was a time years past where I though Joe was going to be an enjoyable talent...those tracks he did for Mark Ronson and Dissette were HARD...

out of those 4 Slaughterhouse cats, Joe was definitely the frontrunner, he's been doing his thing on mixtapes/shows/freestyle circuit...so I wouldnt say he wasnt heard from...all those mixtapes and all those Mood Muzik albums...Royce is dope and all, but he didnt have near the buzz at the time that Joe did...Joe found a small niche of fans that made him pseudo popular...

your crazy man, i didnt listen to joe budden until i caught buzz of his mood music 3 which got heavy rotation underground...but royce is my favorite and saigon is a good rapper just way over rated and joe budden puts his feelings behind every lyric is all and is an incredible battle rapper

Raekwon's Only Built For Cuban Linx is considered a classic. His new cd Only Built For Cuban Linx 2 is pretty solid. Not a classic like the first one, but solid.

people fail to realize that this list represents hottest mc's right now...based on album sale trends, concerts, TV appearances and such...at least that's what I got from the interview today on HOT 97...still probably a garbage list to me when it boils down to talent since the only artists I even like are Raekwon (OB4CLII is EPIC) and Jay-Z (even though I personally thought BP3 was TRASH), 50 hasn't been worth the listen since Get Rich to me so, the rest of the list is puke...but as far as popularity, album sales and the ever popular "swagger" MTV probably has their ducks in a row on this one...

#5: Rick Ross (Wtf #5? He made one DECENT song)

#6: Gucci Mane (He's decent, but his style is whack and just plain weird)

#7: Young Jeezy (Should definately be before AT LEAST gucci and rick ross, Come on) Kind of ironic too how after all the hype gucci comes out over jeezy, when jeezy is the better rapper.
