there are special CD's that have like a tan colored coating on the display part of the cd. It states lightscibe on the CD scroll. I have a lightscribe drive b ut yet to use it

Lightscribe cd's and dvd's are unique and a little harder to find than regular ones. Although the labels they print are pretty cool.....Monochrome FTW?

Lightscribe is gay ... Takes way too long, mediocre image quality, insane cost, and it's only in black and gold ...
A good-quality printer with the ability to print directly onto the disc along with discs with printable surfaces is the way to go ...
