need to get my electrical up. my stock alt is 130 amps(not bad). i need to do the big 3 and put a yellow top in front. now i need a good budget battery that i can put in the back.

and also when i put the battery in the back, can i just run 0 gauge from the battery to the distro block?

1200w at 12.5v so maybe 1000 or 1100 now.

just trying to help you out, but unless your getting the YT for a good price, your better off looking at some other brands. you can ore than likely find something just as good or better at a better price. not that YT's are bad or anything, just usually kinda pricey for what they do IMO.

2nd the big 3.. where are you located? check the classifieds theres a guy selling blue top optimas (marine grade yellowtops you can tell from the D in the sticker) like $80each, run that in the back and leave the stock one where it's at if it works fine to start and run everything except the audio imo.. eventually you'll need to upgrade it, but should be ok for a few months I'd imagine...

If you add a second battery I would run the positive of the one up front to the negative of the one in the back and then ground the positive terminal....this way you will get WAY more voltage! Haha....only kidding, don't do that!

I suggest starting with the big 3. Stock ground is crap. See how thats works before adding a 2nd bat. 1000 watts should be ok on a 130 amp alt.

I dont advacate this, However, Ive read about caps being installed on the lighting curcuit. just throwing it up.

those blue tops look like a good deal. The blue i think is better for care audio IMO and the opinion of the engineers who design them. yellows dont like constant charge and discharge but the blues handle it better. Yellows are great for charge then run stuff then charge.
