Lightning Audio

Lightning Audio is Fosgates lower end brand, so Id be quite surprised if it had the same internals.

As with most other companies, some of their stuff is low end, some is higher quality. Youll have to wait for specific comments on the strike series.

(edited to avoid looking like a dumbass)

LA makes some good products...I can say from personal experience that the Storm series of equipment is VERY nice gear...the new Storm woofers are LOUD

Forgot about the Storm series. Isnt Strike the low end stuff, found at walmart?

yeah....my buddy had 4 15" strike's...with the strike 1000.1.....in a wall in a s10 and he was hitting mid 150's..(154.3 on the term lab)...not bad for only 250 watts to each sub. i ended up buying 2 from him and am going to use my mrd m501's with them...ill get back to you and let you know how they sound in a trunk space....Rob

I have the older Lightning Audio Strike S4.600 powering my Dual Tempests (bridged rear channels) and front channels powering my CDT Components, very pleased with the results and amp was less than $100.

This amp makes the sub hit harder than my old Boss REV-3000D
