lift gate still vibrating

so i covered the lift gate/ hatch of my jeep with dynamat extreme and the thing still shakes and vibrates like crazy. on certain songs it moves about 1/8th of an inch outward and its extremely loud, so loud i can hear it on the inside of my jeep too.

just wondering if anybody has any solutions or ideas on how i can quiet this thing down. i was thinking bolts in the gate with rubber stoppers on the ends that will be up against the body of the jeep, but im not sure if that will work. anybody else have any similar problems or ideas?

and just so theres no confusion, its the whole door. the glass doesnt lift on my jeep.

most likely the striker pins rattling on the latches.....try thin walled rubber tubing on the striker pin

yea, there are rubber stoppers there already, im just not sure how far i can back them out. thats why im thinking of installing a new one on each side. then i can back those out a good amount, hopefully thatll stiffen everything up.

rubber stopper. i was thinknig of making two more of these and backing them out a bit, hopefully stiffening up the whole gate.

heres where that stopper sits

this gap opens up about an 1/8" on certain songs.

and another shot

im gunna try adjusting the stoppers tomorrow. then ill try and remove the molding and all and see if its any better.
