life is killing me right now...

well they did the surgery today, it looks like they can get it out with no problems...they were able to relieve some of the pressure by take a small portion of it off today, they said this should help him out significantly, we've been at the hospital all day, i just came home, i have to work in the morning because i have missed so much this week, my wife will stay over night...

so if all goes as planned they should be able to perform the procedure in 2 weeks...

thank for the support fellas...

Glad to hear things are looking up.

The bit they got out should be able to give them a more definitive diagnosis, too. Good luck, man.

Dont know how I missed this.

I am so sorry to hear about your troubles. My thoughts are with you and your family and I hope all comes out well.

yea they said they should know for sure by sometime early next week, im about to head over to the hospital for lunch and relieve the wife for a bit...

alright, my son came out of his 2nd successful surgery this morning, he's free and clear of the tumor now, it was about the size of a large grape or a pitted cherry...they said everything looks good and they are anticipating everything to go downhill from here...I guess they are going to study the tumor for awhile and get some more info, IDK, something like that...

so thanks for the thoughts fellas...hopefully we're almost out of this...

So glad to hear this, man. I have kept you in my prayers off an on, and meant to PM you and ask how it went.

Out of curiosity, did they tell you what the type of tumor was? Like a medulloblastoma (MED-yoo-low-blast-OH-muh) or pituitary adenoma or something? Where was it located? I think the medulloblastoma is the most common brain tumor in children, but that doesn't mean much.

Very glad to hear it all turned out ok for you. There's nothing worse I think, than losing a child. Its devestating to say the least. Got friends that its happened too, got another friend that had to go in for an emergency c section at like 27 or 29 weeks, and of course, I got my own munchkin that runs around like a crazed maniac. So my prayers go out to ya man, hope things keep goin along a positive track!

glad to hear it turned out well!

I jusst weent through a similar situation not even a month ago. Whatever happens, happens, and there is nothing you can do about it to an extent, so the best thing to do is remain optimistic and just live life. There's no use in being down and depressed, because it not only hurts you but it hurts those closest to you too.

I wish you the best of luck in the future, I hope everything turns out perfect!
