Lets discuss tipping

You know it's still not too late to change the topic to cow tipping instead...........

I tip, I always have, I leave 2-3bucks most times.. I even tip when the bagboy carries out my groceries, seeing how i am a bagboy I try to help my friends out by giving them a buck and a 5minute convo that keeps them from doing their job.. I usually make 20$ or so extra per week on top of my staggering $6.50 per hour wage

Hey douschebag, news flash:
I wasnt tooting my own fuckinng horn. I dont claim to make the most money, but i was proving a point. Entry level at my job is 14 / hr, take home ~1000-1100 biweekly with the benefits i get. I dont ride on my ******* parents coat tails you stupid ****, i pay to rent the attic out, i pay part of the electric, gas and water, i buy my own food, pay for my own car, pay my student loan, cell phone, buy my own clothes, the only thing i dont do is actually live by myself. I'm in the process of finding an apartment with reliable roommates.

i honestly couldn't give two shits if you made 50/hour at 20. school didnt work for me, i couldn't afford it. i don't come from a rich family.

again, shit you don't know about me, so stfu>

people like you need to shut their ******* mouth before they run it, a lot of people would bust you in your ******* face for talkin like that wannabe big shot behind a computer screen you bob ross penis ****** ho
ahhahahahaha. get over yourself.

I tip -- and so should you. I could not sit there and accept the service of the waiter knowing that I was going to stiff him on the tip.

If they are extremely busy, I may even tip more even though the service is slow but I can see that they are busting ***. The reason being is that I know that other people are likely to be jackasses about it and not leave a tip. It would **** to bust your *** for hours and make less money simply because the kitchen was too busy to keep up.

while we're on the subject of all this...i still dont even understand why people work for these types of places. by accepting being paid $3 an hour plus tips, you're doing nothing more but encouraging the practice that employers have. in essence, you're agreeing with the employers that your work is only worth $3 an hour.

thats the reason i have never worked fast food. my time is worth more than minimum wage.

dont blame the customer because your employer doesn't want to pay you.
i always tip, but it pisses me off that the guy is stuck every night, HOPING, people are gonna put his paycheck together for him. shame on the employer
I don't think you grasp the concept... if you don't want to pay for full service, eat fast food or cook your own food. When you're a server, you are working for yourself and you are paid based on your performance. My paychecks are usually between $3 and $10 for 60+ hours because they take taxes out of the tips we bring home through our paycheck of $2.13 an hour.

Every place you work, you are going to get paid through the customer in a roundabout way. This is just a more direct approach.

I also don't think you realize how much most servers bring home on an average night.

i fully grasp the concept. you are paid to bring me food and drinks. that is your job. i dont need a "stimulating conversation" as someone put it. a mechanics job is to fix a car. a piolet's job is to fly a plane. a servers job is to serve me my food and drinks. hell i dont even need you to serve me, let me get my own **** food from the cook.

and secondly, yes i dont know how much servers bring home on an average night. nor do i care. just like i dont care how much anyone else makes.

I write down tips on the napkin to help them lead a successful life. Teach a man to fish and...
