Lets discuss tipping

bartending is actually an awesome job. its alot of fun working with alcohol, mixing drinks, and serving them. that in itself makes the job worth it. but ontop of it all...people give you money //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
not for me, but for someone to make me or pour my drink for me deserves a little love. heck, i can't even get my b!tch to get me a beer from the fridge and i pay the bills.

I won't read all of this... but I tip most of the time.. and for some reason when I'm with a big group where they automatically take out the tip, the waiter sucks and I end up putting negative under the extra tip for him....never works tho //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Same thing applies in this situation.
You've served again until you're satisfied?

How is it the same? The waiter or waitress is not going to serve you again, and if we can relate being refunded to not tipping, that, according to you, would be stealing because you're not paying for a service you received.

Just drinks, I'll leave my change or just some loose change in my pocket, but I don't feel particularly compelled to since you just have to check up on my every 20 minutes just to make sure my glass isn't empty. Any type of food, Yes, absolutely necessary. Even if you are the crappiest ****ing waiter, I'll still leave at least $1 to 10%.

I have friends who don't like to tip and it pisses me the hell off. The really stupid part is that they do it at restaurants that they go to almost once a week. I make sure to not be affiliated with the tip leaving decision by tipping them on the way out the door by myself.

I hope those of you who don't tip die from swallowing piss.

I never tip those people who just make the food and offer no service (chinese food, some pizza places, etc...)

Usually 10 - 20 % max for decent service, great service might be up to 25% but that is rare.

Tip my barber $5 on a 13 dollar cut, they take good care of me though. Tip delieveries around $5 depending upon driving distances and traffic.

What are you talking about? If you were refunded on your meal by the manager as just cause for bad service it is not stealing. All I'm saying is that if you are dissatisfied with your service, you should complain. You would get more done that way. Not leaving a tip just makes you out to be the ***hole.

BTW I'm not a waiter. See the post below yours.
