length of wire, does it matter that much?

Well im about to go into my garage and relocate my amps under my front seats for security reasons, instead of the speaker wires connected my amp to my subs being around 3' they will be around 8' long now, will this affect the performance of my subs at all??

Nope, here is a simple explanation why. The voice coil wire is way smaller than those wires you are using and is many many yards long. For you to add a few feet of way larger than coil wire to that won't do anything audibly noticeable.

Agreed, you're gonna want to upgrade the amp to ensure you are running the same amount of power after you extend the wires.

Thanks guys, yeah Im not big on spl as you can see my setup its all SQ so im not to worried about loosing a couple of watts I just dont want my gear gettin stolen
