Its not your problem. The warranty is with the manufacture not you.

As long as your labor is correct(wiring, no finger prints on the bulbs) then

its out of your hands.

they are gonna sue for ~$100...right

court costs would be more and I doubt a judge would take a case about head lights from ebay

That's why I went through numerous reviews all over the internet to find out what I should/shouldn't do. Most of the time the lower end P.O.S. "kits" from eBay don't last long because of stock wiring, and pulling WAY too much power when they first turn on. That's why, when you do end up buying the cheap HID's, always buy the extra relay, or build one. Those make it to where they pull power directly from the battery, instead of straining your stock electrical out.

This is why I did an actual retrofit for my car. Screw the cheap kits I went all factory with 4 projectors and all. I have never had one issue + I am by FAR the brightest thing on the road when I drive at night.

^ CSB. I think they're just trying to scare you honestly. Who's going to sue over some headlights? Not to mention a $40 set of headlights. I say just ignore them for awhile and see what happens.

$40 in a business standpoint is not a bad lost. If I was a shop owner I would call her and say yes you can replace the lamps for free, but describe to them NICELY why it went bad(because it's cheap) and give them the option of either go back to stock with refunds or spend the money and get better ones. She's not smart enough to realize that you're not the one who made the lamps but hey I've served worse back in my Staples days.

Remember one happy customer will tell her best friend. One pissed off customer will tell the whole entire city.

I beg to differ. I have run the xentec kit on my truck for well over a year issue free. and i get people flashing me everytime i drive. rather annoying actually...

I would tell them to go ahead and file it. Then also kindly remind her, it was her choice of product, and that you have record of her texts. Also I would ask her is she has proof of purchase. Tell her to feel free to go to her lawyer with that.
