arrite i have 2 jl 12w3v2s in an h.o. box with an orion 600d amp.. recently ive been contemplating on whether i should upgrade from my 2 w3v2s to 1 12w6v2.. if i do, id still run it off the same amp which would give it 400 rms at 2 ohms..

i know that 2 subs > 1 sub, but what will be the difference between these two setups? will it be a big difference?

can i have opinions on whether i should or not and why? thanks

to tell you the truth i know that the high output box is prefabed by JL. you should build another ported box for it to see if you can that little bit of extra desired output

With the same power, and double the cone area, the W3's should be louder then a single W6. I would build a new box, and perhaps invest in a new amp before I tried changing out the subs.
