Is that a good deal and is the JL12W3 a good sub to run off of maybe, 500w of power? Also does anyone know if it is SVC or DVC? I'm just wondering. I want to replace my LA Bolt and I want something better like a JL or a Alpine or Infinity 12.

If you actually received what that ad is supposedly trying to sell for that price it wouldn't be a bad deal. After having a look at that seller's feedback added to the fact that there are no actual item pictures....only a single pic of someone's subwoofer wall (who knows if it belongs to the seller or not?) I wouldn't buy from him no matter how good of a deal it may or may not be.

And to answer your question regarding SVC or DVC...they are dual 6 ohm coils.

I didn't know what a normal price for those would be. I figured that this sub was one of those subs from the wall as it says it was in a show truck.

With the way the listing is worded along with the one picture featured being the only one there it's designed to make you assume exactly that. I'm just picky in my eBaying and I have a tendency to eliminate from consideration things that do not have actual item pics. As easy as it could be to scam someone on eBay I'd suggest buying ANYTHING sight unseen off of there is a bad idea.
The seller's feedback record indicates repetitive shady trading practices in the past. There's too many things about it as a whole that throw up red flags to me so were it me I wouldn't risk any amount of money on something so glaringly questionable.
