Lanzar Opti 65 Has anyone heard it?

3inch vc is impressive for speakers indeed, but how do they sound? don't know

Thats what i was thinking about..

I can get a pair for a good price,and 3'' voice coils YUMMY!

But.. How do they sound.. I have heard diffrent stories about lanzar.. Some say very good,some say dont worth jack..

Dunno what to think..

I cant beleive nobody owns them when they cost what? 60 bucks? Thats hilarious..

I am pretty sure they can handle 300-350 rms.. Maybe even 400..

i have a set and put not a lot of power maybe 120rms if that and they are the ****. they get loud as balls but sound pretty good. I'm not really going to say much until i can afford to get the power they are rated at. the cone is coated with something that makes it rough. the grills are really tacky and very cheesy. i just wish these had push pin terminals.

they dont look bad imho. i would buy them at that price for sure. the opti line is decent stuff. i think them being bought by pyramid a while back has hurt their name becaue the quality is no where near what it once was. their os stuff was excellent.

i like them a lot better than my rsd's but those are like 1/2 the cost. i havent had many high end comps installed in the car so idk?

these aren't that bad def worth the asking price. i picked up the complete set for only $122 shipped to my house

Explain to me then, when they bought lanzar, did their designs change? NOPE. Just because they own Lanzar now doesn't mean what the original designers designs are sh!t now, just the opposite- Pyramid just got better. Now they can implement the newer, better technology into the Pyramid name. You don't become dumber/smarter just by crossing the state line.

I have heard that the Opti series line is still really good, amps and speakers alike.

As i found on the web they cost 56 $ now? I dont know what is the shipping cost in the USA but.. They are cheap..

IMO they look good on those real life pics,and that 3'' coil is giving me the chills! I mean a lot of subs dont have that kind of voice coil..

Plus they are rated from 50HZ which if true is great.

For 56 $ i think u cant buy anything better? The old price was 156 $.. 300-350 rms per side would be good.. If u cant afford 2ch,go for 4ch amp

is that why a 800w vibe is fused at 40 amps? same design? i guess ppi, alphasonik, hifonics, etc hasnt changed either right???

That's not the opti series......my buddy has a opti6000d on 2 DD 9515's and it does them justice.....FTW

I'd like to ear the tweeters too, i think they're alum... cheap alum tweeter sounds awful imo

6000d i would hope so lol. i said opti line was DECENT, still is not the same quality product as the old opti zed. sorry. try this, take you a new 200w opti and play it on some subs then take an old 50c and put it on them and come back and tell me its the same.
