Most people on this forum say the Optidrive series are good, sturdy amps. But in general, stay away from Lanzar stuff that isn't an Optidrive.

They're better, but the current Opti's are pretty solid.

so what kind of amp should i get thats fairly cheap and reliable to push 2 jl 10w1v2?

Get a cadence. I got a new 500 watt @ 2 ohm mono block, and its amazing, off ebay from the official cadence distributor and it was about $60 shipped.

I have an old school VHC 1200 max about 1000rms with the right electrical. It kills my power and I have 2 kinetiks and big3 done. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif It works for awhile, but if I tend to get on it some for about 10 mins, it shuts off and comes back on from probably overheating. Pretty much why I bought a new amp. Will be up for sale soon for uber cheap!

I was looking at the lanzar Vibe 226 800 watt 2 channel amp to power my 2 JL 10w1v2's in not looking for a system that's gonna hit every day I just want it to be loud when I want it to be would this be an ok amp to use?

I was talking about early 90 models. such as the 2500 opti or 50c etc...
