ok, looking for a better 'sound' but you have a dang big 7 cuft box...how about a sealed setup, like the CVX 15 or Type r 15". If you want a big ported L7 15", then SQ isn't what your really after...if you want an overall better 'sound' try a selaed woofer that handles the power. i mentioned the CVX, but you stated it was too $$...so question 1) how much do you want to spend 2) want more SQ or SQL or SPL

it was stated inintally that i have no more than 450 to spend, including shipping, i'd liek to do 2 15"s to achieve better SPL than 2 12" l7's but with slightly better SQ. i may look into a CVX, but i'd like to see if i have any cheaper options

it was for duckfart, but you'd look at maybe spending an additional $100 to get more output, better SQ, and more Sd, over your initial budget...
