L7 SPL numbers

its possible. my buddy had two 12" L5's (the first line, black cone, 450 wrms) and two directed 600d's in a prefab kicker ported box (the kind with the cardboard circular port) and was doing 143's on music in a hyndai tiburon.
There's a big difference between 143 and 149.

oh i know. im just saying it IS possible. like everybody says, its all install dependant and certain vehicles get louder than others. my point was that two old l5's with less power still got real loud and metered nicely. so im sure its possible to get close to 149. people with single 15" L7's are doing 145's. so i dont see why dual 12" L7's wouldnt get up there

i wont call BS on a 149 being possible we all know panda's,crx's and explorers can get loud the real question here should be who built the box? and what is it tuned to

So I think i may get an L7, price has alot to do with this decision lol. Does anyone on here have any spl numbers for an L7 12, just one of them with like 750-800rms..just trying to get an idea
its completely install dependent. someone could be doing 145 easily while another person does a 125. with any driver, there will be people really loud with them and then people that dont have a clue what they're doing.

the amp was an older style R fosgate 1500.1 not 1200
u can hear this kid coming literaly a mile a way. heres a pic of the system. Can anyone tell what the tuning of this box may be?

Here are the pictures of my old L7 setup that I've posted on this site a millon times. Hopefully it gives something that's viewing this thread some ideas.

You're not going to know until you test with a meter. Typically even carpeting a box as opposed to painting is going to lose a few tenths.
