Does this place look like a good place to get this sub? if not any suggestiions on where else to buy it? Not really looking to pay 500 bucks on a sub. (not anymore)

Yeah they are for real. I bought my first sub from them and a wiring kit. Go for it man, it's a good deal.

The subs are referbs, thats why cheaper than normal, but still good as new. Its the real deal go for it.

Yeah they are refurbs, but my 12" L5 was a refurb I got from them and it worked great. Well until I sent it over twice it's rated RMS daily for over a month by accident... lol

What model is the amp? If its 1600w rms then 2 15" L7's would run great off of it. I figured it would be safe @ 1 ohm because I've read (a) kicker usually does *not* rate there coils accuratly (sp) the dual 2's are normally 2.3 or somthing like that

and (b) hifonics is overrated power with it doing around 1300 - 1500 watts

and finally © the L7's are rated at max power of 2k watts...

Yeah it would be fine at 1 ohm, that amp is 1 ohm stable so you are safe, but if you can afford to buy 2 definitely get 2 and hook em both up, it will be shitloads louder than the 1 even with all the power going to it, and then you won't have to worry about blowin em either //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Edit: Oh BTW, if you are going to get 1 and wire it at 1 ohm make sure u get dual 2 ohms

Also, refurbs (factory) are good as brand new, seriously. The only used part is the magnet maybe and the basket, everything else is replaced, so its a brand ****ing new sub with a different name.

Also, you mentioned kicker does not rate thier coils accurately, whoever told you that is a dumbass, they were referring to the DCR (I think thats what it is, cant remember for sure) which wouldnt be used unless you were going for something like a 170dB comp.

D4 you can wire to 1ohm or 4ohms or 16ohms

D2 you can wire to .5ohm, 2ohm or 8ohms
