I have 4 JLW3 subs. I went from a Yukon to a Grand Cherokee. So my ported box is way to big. JL says these subs can be put in 1 cu/ft, has anyone done them in that small amount of airspace, and did they sound alright. I only have 4.5 or slightly less I'm dealing with. I was wondering should I go 4 at a little under 1.1 or 3 at a little under 1.5. I listen to all types of music, so I may not mind getting away from the real low notes my ported box put out. i had a pair sealed in 1^3 a piece... i sold them about 2 weeks later...

I istalled a set of W3's in my girlfriends car in 1^3, they sound great

I had three 12w3s in a box with each in about 1.2^3 ft chamber. they sounded great, even got me second place in an IASCA 601+ SQ comp.
