L5 12" hifonics amp

Hi I'm new here, I have an L5 12"(one) with a hifonics brutus 600 rms amp, in a sealed box right now. I want the bass to be louder so i wanted to go ported. I'm really not trying to attempt at building a box, unless the price would be a lot different, and it won't be as hard as i think. Anyways, I tried shopping around for a ported box and i see 2 kinds, one that looks like an enclosure that is meant for 2 12"s (except only one hole for the sub either on the left or the center) with a port, or a smaller version of this with a port. People have told me the magnet on the L5 is smaller than the L7 so i wouldnt need the bigger one but others have told me that the bigger box would hit harder. Any opinions would help, thanks.

also, what would be the difference if I got a bigger sealed box? i don't know the measurements of my box but it looks to me like the smallest generic sealed 12" box. In no way can i say i know what im talking about but the bass seems kinda flat to me.

hey man i have a 12" L5 in the biggest ported box that kicker makes for it and i only have about 350 watts rms going to it and it deffinately surprised me so i would recomend finding that boxes that kicker made (not the new ones) for the l5 because it sounds very clean and loud! http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2060595 you can look at it on this site

thanks for the reply man, thats about the size i was talkin about wen i said " one that looks like an enclosure that is meant for 2 12"s (except only one hole for the sub either on the left or the center) with a port" and that kicker box that u have looks nice. where'd you get it though?? ive been looking for it online, and in the audio shops they say they kicker only old them as combos. ive seen the box on ebay for cheap but it says used. anywhere i can get a new one?

for about $120, i was looking for something cheaper but about that size. I've seen the kicker made ones on ebay (unloaded) but its used and its pretty cheap, $10 plus 40 or so for shipping but its used so i don't know if i should risk wasting money on that. Any other suggestions?

^^ anyone have any opinions/suggestions on that? also, is this right, if i want the loudest sealed then go with the smallest, and ported go with the biggest?
