L-port! 8 cubes

ok so i want my port in the middle instead of what i can design on RE audio so if i just moved it to the middle what would happen?
The L-port uses the wall as part of the port, giving you more internal volume, if you make the port in the middle you just loose a little total internal volume.

You could try to make the port longer, but there might be other reasons with the box won't extend lower, or even the sub. You'd have to reverse...
