Amp will be here tomorrow!!! I'm really excited to get it back! I redid the big 3 yesterday with 0 guage, had 2 guage before. Should there be a pretty big increase in voltage going from 2 guage to 0 guage on the big 3? I also put a new ground wire for the amp. Before I had some cheaper 0 guage wire that wasn't much bigger than 4 guage, now I have kicker hyperflex.

Although it will help SOME it will not be that much. 1/0 is not a huge increase from 2 awg.

Actually might have been a little bit smaller that 2 guage. It was autozone 2 guage wire.

Well I got the amp back from Kicker today. I hooked it up. Turned it on and it worked. I wanted to see how high I could turn the gain knob up before it turned off due to low voltage (before I could just turn it slightly below the halfway mark), I was able to turn the gain up ALL the way without it kicking off one time. So I decided to turn the bass boost all the way up just for laughs and giggles and to my suprise it still didn't kick off! Of course I turned the gain and bass boost back down. I then tried turning my headlights on and my AC and turned the gain back up and it still didn't turn off.

I only did it for maybe 2 seconds just to see if it was going to kick off. I turned it back down.

I really dont see anything wrong with seeing if the amp was actually worked better than it did.

No way i would EVER, run a 2500d on stock electrical.
