kx1200.1 wiring help

hey im getting a kicker kx1200 from ebay and i plan on wiring em up to my 2 12" db drive platinum dvc 4ohm subs. I heard that the kx1200 draws alot of current and im wondering if i need any extra alternator or"big 3" wiring. I got a 94 nissan altima, and im gettin 1/0 gauge wiring for the amp. If i keep the volume down and the gain low will i be okay without the extra wiring?

Whats the point of having subs if you cant crank them ?

1/0 seems a tad overkill for just 1 amp

Why dont you just get some 2 ga or 0 ga

install it then worry about it if your lights dim.

2 will eb fine, and no, they are not current hogs...the older ZR and XS were, but the KX's draw about the same as most class D amplifiers

as far as i know altima's have a good big battery and alternator
