the armeggedon for 50 bucks? That thing is supposed to handle over 1500 watts if i remember correctly....

saw one this weekend off of an MTX 81000, it wont take 1500wrms lol. you could smell glue after just a 3 second burp... or a couple seconds of music turned up pretty loud. I know the person who installed it and set the amps, i know that clipping isnt an issue here lol. It just didnt like the power.

depends on which one the first series way back in the late 90's could do 3 kw burps. they made 3 different series of them lord knows why

the u's i believe were the bad arsed ones of that era i wasnt around them much after i stopped the rep/distributor thing. the u's were huge and the first series had big vc's the others were just impressive to look at for the time they were out

Gary Kovner is the slime ball caught paying people to pose as loyal and happy Kove product users on messages like this one a few years ago (complete with bogus reviews probably written by Gary himself). I had the displeasure of meeting him later that year at SBN. He literally cursed me out for even asking about the situation. If you want their subs, do the world a favor and buy them via parts express, a manufacturer/distributor who actually pays for their product, not their propaganda.

No offense to you audiolife. But Kove Audio is pond scum so far as Im concerned.

i run all kove in my truck and i have no problems with them at all i run the Z's and i think those are the best out of the 3 the U's are very nasty also maybe they just had a bad sub i don't really over power mine i have 12's and i'm running them off a viper 1200 but i have a 9 cuft box so dumping boat loads of power to them isn't really an option and they are doing ok #'s with no problems smelt the coils once but that was my fault hee hee the gain on the amp isn't a volume knob but i had to get the one more DB and yea i'd buy them from express parts also hahahahaha 200 dollars for kove dust caps i think not

thats it the z then the u's were bad haha. the people who used the stuff as far as musicians go it was backed by someone who you prolly wouldnt believe and the website was done by a musician (well known) too. people were mad at gary for lanzar but that wasnt his fault

there are a few well known musicians that back kove but jesse james backs auto zone but that doesn't mean he shops there LOL not alot of people run kove and i have hear the owner story before but when i seen a Z plugged into a wall socket (free air) for 20 seconds and it didn't blow i was sold didn't smell great either but what would after that

depends on the series. they arent that bad the first series used to hold a few records on limited use lol just food for thought and dont read into it as im saying they are the best either cause im not saying that lol
