Konaki Subs?

This is a sub that I think might have potential(ridiculously inexpensive). Is anyone familiar with the KO-1507A competition subwoofer? I can't find much info at all on it. I did manage to come across a hair trick on you tube with the use of only 1 12" Konaki Sub and a 1200watt Konaki amp. I did not know this was possible...

I heard the soft parts are shitty, and the sub will tear itself apart eventually. I don't know if this includes the one in the link(their competition version).

What Fi sub is it similar to? I am familiar with all of their solid products

idk i thought that is why everyone bought them up cause it used the same motor as one of the older fi subs.

idk. w/e. prolly gettting something confused.

lmao i knew they were clones of some big comapny.
Well I'm not 100% sure, but I'm like 80% sure they were very similar to the DD 9500 motor. Jacob from sundown had mass for sale, maybe he'd know better //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

No, There have the same motor as the Audioque HD3C.

Also, shares motors with a American Bass sub, XFL i think.

But the Konaki soft parts are terrible.

IMO, its a waste of time. Just go buy a Audioque for a little more money and have a whole quality sub.

Well the HDC3/VFL/DD 9500 are all very similar motors(externally at least, I know someone will say the insides are different and crap), which is why this was known mainly as a DD 9500 clone the first time they were posted to this forum. (atleast from what I recall)

I posted the truth.

Its not a 9500 clone.

And its XFL, not VFL.

VFL's was a woofer built by SJA, and I think its still available.

I was reading old threads and they are similar to the DD. I cant figure about what Konaki sub they were comparing it to. I get the impression that these competition versions are relatively new(I am Probably wrong though)...

Well I wasn't aware there was more than 1 Konaki sub. I didn't bother searching for the model you posted or anything, so I'm just assuming we're talking about the same one that was brought up earlier this year.
