Sicaudio is a Maxxsonics salesman, but you can't fault the guy for trying to make a living. I wouldn't call every Maxxsonics amp crap either...especially the mb quart discus series. Those amps are regarded as some of the best budget level equipment on the market at the moment.

I agree. It looks decent, costs very little and provides adequate power. I really think the OP would be more than happy with it...

the amp has a built in crossover to adjust the sub bass frequency

i think you are referring to the subs fs i highly doubt if u build a 2 cf box per sub and tune at 38hz that you would ever hit the subs fs. or hurt the sub in any way. but the box is the key it is with any sub.
