im lookin at getting a kole audio Trax4-1600 4 channel amp for 2 12" cerwin vega 124s they are 800 watts each and 400rms each at 4 ohms each

is this a good amp?

However, for 400-500w there's really no need to limit yourself to a mono amp. A bridged 2 channel that's 400-500w at 4 ohms would work fine too.

ok let me get this straight i take the 2 negative wires and the 2 posative wires and run the both to the 1 channel mono amp at 1 ohm

the subs r single voice coil idk if that makes a diffrence

that amp will give you 1000 rms at 1 ohm and you can detune it a bit. i can do it for 165 shipped with warranty.

boss is at best 1/2 what they rate them at and very poor quality

Sorry, I thought they were dual 4 ohm coils

the amp will do 1000 rms at 1 ohm and around 600 at 2 ohms so you will be fine with it. i thought u had dual coil subs you only have 2 terminals on each sub?

i was saying have the gains down a tad to match the output power to the subs i sell the same amp as i showed you for 165 shipped they sell it for 175 and we are both authorized dealers so...... full warranty either way
