knukonceptz best wires or personal preference?

Best power wire is kicker wire //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Knu stuff is very nice stuff tho.. buy what you can afford and what you can justify spending.

what hes may be saying is that no their cheap stuff is not the same as their more expensive, but depending on how yuo install your stuff and what your using the wire for you might not hear a difference

Well i want to run the best 12 gauge wire to my components and the best 8 gauge to my subs and the best power/gnd wire 1/0 gauge and 4 gauge so you think kicker makes the best wire and not knukonceptz? I am running zapco competition amps for sq system i am building up and i want the best wire i can get money is not a problem as long as its not outragous like 10 bucks a foot for 12 gauge...

Trunks, make sure you get directional speaker wire or you might as well have bought JL amps.

For the OP, my favorite wire that I've dealt with is DEFINITELY Kicker Hyperflex. I used hooker in my install as that's what I got a good deal on at the time. WeldingSupply.com has some good, affordable, fairly flexible wire if you don't mind have plain looking wire.

Use what yo can afford, as long as you're getting something with a fairly high strand count that's OFC(most wire is). I wouldn't by the super cheapo wire off fleabay, and I definitely wouldn't buy anything at walmart.

If you equate cost to best or think you can hear the difference anyway try Tara Labs. They'll be more than happy to charge you a retarded amount of money for wire.

If you actually know what you're doing you'll get the right size wire that is flexible enough for your install and as inexpensive as possible. Wire is wire. It simply carries electrical current from one point to another. Its properties are measurable. If a difference is not measurable, it is certainly not audible.

was the directional speaker wire a joke?????

SO you think kicker hyper flex is best. I'll look into it.

So what does ofc stand for?

i use Knu wire, but im also not running Zapco Competition amps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

in other words, if i could afford those Zapco amps, i could probably afford what kind of wire Zapco recommends... hint hint

The KNuKonceptz wire is great quality. If a wire is flexible enough for your application and can handle the current requirements of your system it's worthy. It's wire.

The only comment I'll make on Knuconceptz is that several people over on DIYMA were debating on the worthiness of the Aluminum power wire. As you may or may not know Aluminum does not conduct current as well as copper.

If your system doesn't exceed the current limits of the wire you'll be OK using it. It's a little cheaper than the Kollosal Kable which is made of pure copper. I have some KK and it's just as good as anything out there.
