Looking into purchasing a quality 6meter(19.5ft) 4 Channel RCA cable and want to invest in a nice "shielded" set

either:

Karma SS: (22$)

Car Audio Wire

or

Krystal: (28$) OVERKILL?????

I was wondering which set of KNU RCA's yall are running and what do you suggest.

I use the twisted ones, whichever they are. Never had a problem with them. I love them.

Sounds like the Karma SS series. Thanks for the input I might go this route since the Krystal's sound like overkill

What kind of noise? Chances are the noise has nothing to do with your RCAs.

Noise induced into your signal cable will have the same presence, in terms of output in relation to the signal (music), at any volume level. This is because the noise is introduced into the signal chain before the amplifier, so the amp amplifies it just like its suppose to be part of the original signal.

Engine whine is primarily the symptom of a grounding problem, not induced signal noise, which is usually in the form of a magnetic field caused by a significant amount of electrical current passing nearby. Engine RPM's generally dont affect the current strength of a major wiring system in your vehicle, other than the ignition wires. And if your RCA cable is running anywhere near your spark plug wires, you've got bigger problems.

It sounds like you are trying to solve a problem you may or may not have.

I have Karma SS 19.5ft and they very nice...only complaint(and you hardly ever hear this one) Is that once the RCA's go on they are tighter than virgin ****** ! Very hard to pull off!

Those RCAs **** to use. Nice to look at, but very stiff and horrible to run through the car. I went from the Karma SS to the Stinger Pros and Im much happier. Sheilded wont matter. I went from the Knu to the Stingers and have RCAs laying right on top of my power cables in the back and theres no problems from it.

I have several pairs of Krystals I've used since 2005 - great build quality, although the size of the connectors does make repairs difficult if you have to resolder them, there's a lot of metal to have to heat up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Not a bad problem to have...
