Klipsch floorstanding speakers

What do you guys think about the klipsch F-3 Floorstanding loud speaker. Is it a good speaker for the money. my brother gets them at about half the price but i want to know if there are any good. I hear mixed things so maybe yall would be more helpful.

Also compared to the F-2. The only difference I see is that it has 6 1/2's in stead of 8's on the f-3

Meh.

Older "Heritage" series Klipsch > newer Klipsch.

The new ones are very shouty and irritating to my ears, and they don't have the tonal bliss that the older ones have //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif They also look ugly to me, but that's nothing to do with the sonics.

I would look into Fortes/Forte II's, Heresy/Heresy II's, maybe Cornwalls or Choruses if you find them locally for cheap. Depending on how much amplifier power you're running and how much you're willing to spend.

I really liked the RF7's they had there for a while.

Well they are actually for my dad and he is VERY PICKY about things. Ive seen him looking at those and Infinity speakers too. Thats what he previously had untill they fell apart. Is infinity any better?
