wouldnt it be like an extra 80 or so amps of reinforcement at least for like the first ten twenty seconds of use

kinda sorta...easiest way to look at it is based off what kind of power you plan to actually run then decide on your type of batts and how much battery you actually need...i ran a redtop up front and two hc600's in the rear with a 125x4 4ch and a 2000x1 mono and never dropped below 13.4 full tilt while in park but i had a 160 amp alt...

yea i have one plus to yellow tops under the hood with a 105amp alt and it takes a good bit to get my gauge moving below 13.4 i never see it that low with my little 1000watt monos but every now and then ill pop my old orion red in their or something else big to test for some one
