Kinetik HC vs Optima Yellow Top

Well, I'm currently running just under 1000 Watts RMS... When i get new subs, I'll probably be running about 1620 Watts RMS.

So does the Compatible With Systems up to 1000 / 2000 Watts RMS mean that it's best used with systems that use between 1000 to 2000 Watts RMS?

i've used all the batteries mentioned ,at one time or another.yellow tops are fine for your car ,not so much for bigger systems, let say 2000 watts rms or more.now the kinetik batcap ,xs stinger, odyssey ,these batteries can be used as car a system batteries as well as to start your car or truck.in my experience with these batteries the kinetik batteries just dont last under the hood ,they tend to swell on the sides within a year or two ,not saying that they are not good batteries just not for starting your car.now the batcap and xs power batteries are fine .i ran my xs power for 2 years and it still held good power and worked great ,only reason for selling it was to get cash for my batcap.now my batcap has out preformed any battery that i have used in the last 5 years hands down, power wise in the lanes and long lasting performance .
So what you're saying is that any of these should start up my truck? Also I've heard enough about Kinetik batteries already that I've decided to stay away from them...

exactly ,i personally like the batcaps ,but they are expensive ,the xs power bats are great too and the price is a little more easy on the wallet.i would try to get the biggest one that will fit under your hood tho like a d 3100

Just to chime in, I've had my Optima YT D34/78 under the hood of my Caprice for about 6 months now. It's my second one. The reason it's my second one is because I let the first one completely die and then attempted to jump start it. If you go with a yellow top, don't jump it if it dies. It needs to be trickle charged. Kinda a pain if you're out somewhere and it dies on you because you left something on you shouldn't have left on. Other than that, I'm happy with the battery for my 1400 or so watts RMS. Well, I also have my big 3 in 1/0 and a 140 amp alternator to help keep up with the demand. I get a little dimming, but I never drop below 13 volts.

Lol... Yea I don't have that kinda money haha...

In that case, I think that I'll go for this car battery in a month or two...

I've run dekas, redtops, yellowtops, and kinetiks, and can say without a doubt that my current HC1400/HC2400 combo has been my best electrical setup yet. I did a direct swap from a brand new yellowtop D31 to an HC1400 and noticed a tremendous difference. I have owned 5 different kinetiks and run them in 3 different vehicles and they have yet to fail me. Best part is they are sold on amazon with free shipping. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsupwink.gif.129404938effda6ad9cca39e7f4b58a3.gif

Ah I didn't notice that link 976... but I'm broke at the moment! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Just bought that MB Quart Q1.1500D

I'm still kinda partial to XS over Kinetik R34P3R because they do seem to be somewhat cheaper...

N sounds good ejschultz, I might still end up getting a Yellow top because at the moment I run under 1000 Watt RMS...

I have a yellowtop atm it powered my 4 channel and my aq1200d with no problem on my stock alt lights didn't dim one bit but I can't wait for my xs and aq2200d to come i'm so excited //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif
