They have changed their model numbers since (they used to have 600,800,1400...ect ect) and if you had older kinetik batteries that don't have the big stickers on top you can see visual differences in the batteries.

Heck I can remember a company at CES in the late 90's that copied pioneer almost to a T and companies running off employees of build houses taking pictures of other companies products LOL. Just because the case looks the same doesn't mean it is the same. Parts of cells (physically and chemically) can be different like the plates and separators to the terminals.

I would do the 1800 HC if possible and add a 800-1400 in the back by the amp. And do the big 3 and shazamm........voltage should be good to go off 1500rms.

I am doing a 800 in the back with factory battery up front, and the big 3 and praying my voltage does decent. If not, then a 1800 up front, maybe even a 2400.....if it would fit. Might have to do some custom work to get that to fit.

The model number is the rated RMS wattage they recommend. So the HC800 is rated to handle 800W RMS as a second battery. If you go to their site, they have a power calculator that tells you exactly which units you need.

does anyone have any power cells for sale? i need a Kinetik HC2000 if anyone has one? I will take other brands that have the same rms power handling as this one (2000). please just PM me!
