Coil isnt burnt, the glue holding it actually came off, doesnt smell burnt or anything. Seems to have unwound itself? its like a spring inside there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif Idk if thats normal, i dont normally blow subs.

the "spring" is the voice coil. check with a dmm if the ohm reading is fine at the coil. You can also push the sub cone and look for a scratching noise

Dont have a dmm right now. My last one caught fire and i havent bought a new one yet. I knew it was the coil that messed up, i meant it was popped out inside the motor like a spring. Ive been trying to get rid of them for a while now. Once or if i get them replaced ill def sell them then. Im gonna get either some HDC3 12s or maybe type rs. Going with 12s for my next build i think. Dealing with 15s needing air space in a trunk car gets tight when going ported
