OK heres the deal. Went to my builder house cuz i left my ported box over there. Pulled into the drive way with mirrors shakin, pulled the sub out and dropped it into the ported box(was in a sealed) then threw the sub into passenger seat and meet this dude. Now he says its making ****** noises and dont "bang" right. Now i havnt seen his wiring but i know he has 4 or 6 gauge mains. You think a screw of sumthing could of gotten into the box? Or is it his RCAS or the fact he was powering it with a boss 400watt 2ch.... HEs coming over now so i can check it out, but i already spent the money he gave me on a new sub

If the sub was gave to him in good working order it must have been his user error. Probably on some shity amp clipping it to hell.
THats what i told him, i said unplug the sub and STOP PLAYING IT. lol hes onlt had it 4dsays and he said it made that noise first time he turned it on. BUt im not trying to screw him, that sub honestly played perfect with 0 issues.

IMa open it up and see if theres somthing in the box thats not suppose to be. Then try it in my car to see if we hear it, but i already told him i spent the money, saddest part is he was $40 short and i let him take it just on his word he would finish paying and ive never meet him before. im too nice

lol they are both single cabs trucks, just difernt makes. BUt i just got back and as it turned out the fiber fill shifted and was completely blocking the port and he was using some pos boss 2ch. A friend of his brought him a p2002 after i had moved the fill around and dropped it in my truck to to let him hear it off my p6002. He liked it off my amp and it sounded ok the p2002 just not very loud. He suppose to buy my amp this friday.

On a side note. He jams rap and so when he tested it in his truck that high 60-65hz basslines in lil wayne really had bad port noise. But the lows were clear and loud so he said he liked it. lol he said hes used to bumpin kicker, ppl say they sound trashy. Maybe thats why he didnt notice the port noise ^.^

Hope my pro-rabbit box obsidian 12 wont have thoughs pesky port noises

Cracking noises usually happen when the voice coil bottoms out, whether on normal speakers or subs. Sounds like he has the settings jacked up to compensate lack of power from that cheap amp.
YEa im pretty sure thats what it was. I set his lil punch 200 for around 2v and told him not to touch the gain. So he should be good lol
