Kicker

What's up everybody so I just installed a 12-in comp. VR ported kicker in a Dodge. The head unit pushes out 777 w. RMS around there. The amp is 1,500 w. I believe it's a monoblock micro TS power. Anyway, the shop installed just didn't have enough of the low frequency so I am having a hard time readjusting, does anybody know or it's familiar with the same items? Mostly it's the subsonic and the low frequency filter My gain setting was left about 75% of output power which is about 3/4 clockwise to the right. But that seems to be fine and a bass boost well. Everybody knows bass boost adjust at your preference anybody got any suggestions or advice? I'm looking for the loudest low frequency possible while still receiving the crisp clarity

What are the exact sub enclosure specifications? Volume, port tuning frequency? This is all important stuff.

What is the exact amp brand / model number?

In a car or truck or SUV?

It’s a Comp VR so do not expect the world from it, but I had a pair of the old silver color ones and they were decent and played well into the low 30’s, had them in a big box I made tuned around 35hz though on a legit 1000-1500w amp. I actually miss those subs, lol, they lived in their box and was quick to throw in the trunk between other setups or my other car.

I just sent the pictures. Well that's what I'm working with and the settings that it shows on the pictures. That's not accurate right now I have. I have the gain like three still 3/4 to the right. My subsonic is probably I don't know about 2526 bass boost. That was kind of high cuz that's the way the shop left it and I just adjust it from my controller. My head unit only the treble is up 4 DB and my low pass. Not sure where it's at but it's like right there above the 35. Can't really tell my hearing is kind of bad because of my work history but it sounds pretty good. I mean, what do you think? Is that an okay setting?

I would set the Subsonic @ ~25 Hz and the LPF @ ~80 Hz. That particular sub requires at minimum 1.75 cubic feet ported per manufacturer's recommendation. The port itself is huge IMO @ 31.5 square inches by 20 inches long. That is minimum. If your box does not have those parameters, you may have a hard time finding the sweet spot in output.

Versatile sub, in my Toyota it performs well in 1.5ft3 net /w/ a 4" round tuned to 36hz. Its not boomy due to the airspace and legit plays under 30hz when asked. Bottom line OP is if it sounds good to you run it, there are adjustments on your amp and hu for a reason.
Mentioning bass boost is a big red flag to me tbh. Boosting frequencies to obtain a result means the enclosure is suspect in my exp.
What results are you expecting?
