Kicker zxs1500.1 issues

I recently got a kicker ZX s1500.1 on a trade. It was a really good deal....had it worked. I found out when I got home and hooked it up that it wouldn't play music. I rechecked everything and it was set up right. I hooked a DMM to the speaker terminals on the amp and it reads 17v with no RCA cables plugged in. It sounds like a MOSFET clicking on and off fast really quietly. Any ideas. Nothing appears burnt.

Where was the gain set at when you were testing it out?

It was all the way down and I hooked up the DMM and read the voltage and slowly turned it up with no response. The bass boost brought it up 1vac

Leave the bass boost alone. It will cause clipping.

So it puts out no sound at all once you get/got everything hooked up (RCA's, speaker wire, power wire, ground etc)?

Correct. It puts out about 17vac at the amp and the speaker will "pop" when you unhook it, but no actual bass. I didn't mess with the boost till I had the DMM hooked up.

How did you get it? Traded something for it?

Yeah, an old pioneer head unit, Kenwood door speakers (free from Bank rewards points) and 1 Rockford tweeter lol....I'm going to try to replace the output fets (the ones that were clicking) and see if that does the trick.
