in the process of purchasing a

Fi SSD10" at DVC 2 Ohms 800 RMS watts

and going to buy

PG's RSD65CS's components. Power Handling: 60W/120W (RMS/Peak)

Impedance: 4 Ohms

Frequency Response: 45Hz - 20kHz

Sensitivity: 88dB

Which of these 2 amps would be best for SQ running both the Fi Sub (2 ch bridged) and the front stage?

Well, id say the kicker wont cut it. and the massive seems to rate at MAX power? Am I right?

yeah I know that's about half the RMS of the sub, would that be a bad thing to run it that low? I'm really trying to get the best SQ out of it not looking to pound hard. Any enlightenment on this would be most appreciated (I'm super new to all this)

I wouldnt feed it that little, IMO...

Maybe 600w at less, thats me though...

thanks for your feedback, so now I'll lean more towards the 800.4

but can anybody clarify how the SQ would be if I ran the sub at half it's RMS?

Very true...

Get an RE SE I ran a few of those and loved them, 600w rms...

I had mine with as much as 750w and they did fine, but ran them with as little as 425w and they still sonded great...

really? hmm what do you suggest? I was looking at some IDQ's are those good for SQ?

Even the 850.4 would underpower that sub. I agree with these guys. I'd either get a bigger amp or a more efficient sub. I'm getting a Boston 12" G5. The rms on it is rated at 450 and it only requires a 1 cubic foot box. It's supposed to sound dang good to.

IDQs are great for sq, but I'd still try to give a 12" IDQ about 500 watts. They only require a 1 cubic foot box too.

My opionion, get a 4 channel power your comps save the rear channel for later use and get a small mono amp for the sub. I have never liked the idea of bridging the rear for a sub, again thats me though...
