in the process of purchasing a

Fi SSD10" at DVC 2 Ohms 800 RMS watts

and going to buy

PG's RSD65CS's components. Power Handling: 60W/120W (RMS/Peak)

Impedance: 4 Ohms

Frequency Response: 45Hz - 20kHz

Sensitivity: 88dB

Which of these 2 amps would be best for SQ running both the Fi Sub (2 ch bridged) and the front stage?

Thanks.

Kicker ZX650.4 specs:

# 4-channel car amplifier

# 120 watts RMS x 4 at 4 ohms (170 watts RMS x 4 at 2 ohms)

# 325 watts RMS x 2 in bridged mode (4-ohm stable in bridged mode)

# variable high- and low-pass filters (50-200 Hz, 12 dB per octave)

# variable bass boost (0-18 dB at 40 Hz)

# top-mounted controls

# CEA-2006 compliant

# speaker- and preamp-level inputs

# fuse rating: 40A x 2

# 4-gauge power and ground leads and an 80-amp fuse recommended — wiring and hardware not included with amplifier

# 20"W x 2-1/8"H x 9-9/16"D

Massive Audio 800.4 specs:

- 200w x 4 RMS @ 4 Ohm Stereo / 800w x 2 Max

- Heavy Duty Power Supply

- SPC 4 layers of protection

- Continuously variable 18dB X-over.

- Freq. response 10 Hz - 30 KHz

- FR4 Double Sided Glass Circuit Board.

- SMD Hi-Fi audio components

- 2 ohm stereo, 4 ohm mono.

- Illuminated Logo

- Dimensions 2.59" x 8.50" x 13.58"

- 200w x 4 RMS @ 4 Ohm Stereo

- 400w x 4 RMS @ 2 Ohm Stereo

- 800w x 2 RMS @ 4 Ohm Mono

I'm probably wrong, but isn't that Kicker only going to give you about 340 or so to the sub?
yeah I know that's about half the RMS of the sub, would that be a bad thing to run it that low? I'm really trying to get the best SQ out of it not looking to pound hard. Any enlightenment on this would be most appreciated (I'm super new to all this)

Even the 850.4 would underpower that sub. I agree with these guys. I'd either get a bigger amp or a more efficient sub. I'm getting a Boston 12" G5. The rms on it is rated at 450 and it only requires a 1 cubic foot box. It's supposed to sound dang good to.
