Kicker ZX650.4 or Massive Audio 800.4 ?

PLEASE... do not buy that Massive Audio 800.4! I have had two p3000.1's (one as a spare), an 800.4 and a 400.4...all bought brand new. One of the 3k.1's had a problem fresh out of the box. It would go into protect when the volume gets to a certain point. Sent that in hoping to get warrantied...nope, had to pay $150 for a new board (bought on Ebay) and shipping both ways for an amp that was bad out of the box. The other 3k.1 works just fine though, and they claimed it was underpowered, voltage must have went below 11 volts...BS! How come my other 3k.1 works when I swapped it out for the defective one then:wow:? To make matters worse, I bought the 800.4 with the twin 3k.1's. The channels on the 800.4 started to sound distorted one by one until they all distorted really bad. I said scew it, I'm not going to send the 800.4 back to get screwed so I picked up a 400.4 BNIB off ebay for dirt cheap just to have matching amps. A few days later, the 400.4 started doing the same thing, distortion problems. I threw the 400.4 out too. The working 3k.1 was great til' it got stolen:crying:. The repaired 3k.1 got sold when I got it back. Gains were set with a DMM and I had plenty of juice for these amps. Maybe it's just my luck and others may have had great results with Massive. I know one thing for sure is I'll never buy another Massive product unless it was cheap enough to make a profit re-selling or a trade off from something I just have sitting around. Sorry for making the post so long but I just wanted to share my story and convince you why you shouldn't buy the 800.4.

wow that sucks, I have no experience with Massive Audio I just found a good deal, but hearing your story is making me sway more towards spending more for quality.
