Kicker ZX one-ohm stable??

I know the kicker ZX 1500.1 says its only 2 ohm stable, but has anyone had experience running it @ 1 ohm?? Should i risk it, or just be safe and run it @ 2 ohms?! And why are the Kicker SX amps 1 ohm stable?!

Should be alright, just set your gains accordingly.

Run it at 2 daily for sure. I think people burp it at 1 ohm, and I know a few have run for a while at 1 ohm, but I'd just run it at 2 to be safe.

I think it is pretty easy for them to tell by what

components fail and how; that you dropped it too

low.

Maybe a friend has a 1 ohm stable amp you could

let wang on your box so you can clamp it; see what

your impedance rise looks like.

for burps ok. daily no way. i would not want to chance it. that is pretty pricy amp & will do plenty of power at 2 ohms. it will do over rated power at 2 ohms.

they can be run 1ohm daily, just make sure your electrical can support the current
